VOTE Please!!!In January I entered Cal High in the 2022 Vans Culture Contest, only 250 schools are selected across the Nation and Cal High was one of those schools! We designed two pairs of shoes, one is to represent "Home Town Pride" and the other is a DIY shoe to honor the late Paul Van Doren, co-founder of Vans.
We entered our designs on April 14 to be selected into the next round, which is the top 50. I've been holding my breath till today to see if we made it to the top 50. And, guess what? WE MADE THE TOP 50! I'm so excited for our students who worked so hard on the designs. What I need from you as a community is to get the word out and send the link below for votes! You can vote once a day. The school with the most votes makes it to the next and final round. Voting ends on May 6th. The winners receive $50,000 for their art department. The three runner-ups receive $15,000 for their art departments. Please vote for us. If you want to come down and see the shoes in person they are here in FA 104! I have also attached the entry pictures. https://customculture.vans.com/ |
